What
MCP is a way for outside tools and services to plug into Claude Code. One tool the model can use reads views from MCP widgets that Claude Code is holding. Its optional input has been renamed from view to widget_id.
Before, the id had to come from a reminder. Now it can come from a reminder or from an earlier answer. Leaving it out still reads every held view.
Why
This changes what the model sends when it calls the tool, so the model can now pick a single view using an id it saw in an earlier answer.
