What
Claude Code now reads the environment variable CLAUDE_CODE_TODO_REMINDER_MODE, a value you set in your shell before starting it, to choose a mode for its to-do list reminders. When it is not set, the mode is baseline.
The check for CLAUDE_CODE_EVAL_CONFINED has also moved into a helper that looks at it together with two other conditions.
Why
Both are mostly controls for testing and experiments, not everyday settings.
