What
Claude Code sends usage data about how it runs. The details it may include have changed:
- One field about leftover running processes is no longer reported.
- Fields for a reason and for the total size of a command's output are now reported.
- Three new kinds of event can now be reported.
Why
These changes affect only the data Claude Code reports and do not change anything you see.
