Unclear What the gateway is and how a job comes to be routed through it is not known.

What

Claude Code can run a daemon, a program that keeps working in the background. Before, it only handled host-managed jobs. It now also handles jobs routed through a gateway:

  • Cleanup: it now clears out a gateway-routed folder too.
  • Upgrades: workers held on a gateway are not upgraded automatically.
  • Restart: old gateway state is cleared when a worker is started again.
