What

When auto mode's check decides a tool call, an action Claude takes, the SDK description of results now includes auto_mode_rule. It names the entry in your autoMode settings that the check cited, says whether that entry was an allow or a soft deny rule, and keeps the name to 120 characters or fewer.

Why

Programs built on the SDK can show which of your own auto mode rules allowed or blocked a call.
