What

Tool search is how Claude finds and loads tools that are held back until needed. Some tools can only be called from a script run through the REPL tool, which lets Claude run code that calls other tools. When a search matches such tools, tool search now adds a note listing them, with a sketch of how each is called, and tells Claude to call them from the REPL tool.

This only happens when REPL mode is on.
