What
Claude Code's usage reporting, the data it sends to Anthropic about how it is used, records some new details:
- Each turn records whether a plugin steered it, unless the plugin reports it did not
- Each turn can carry a report about the Remote Control device
- The memory-context report records when something joined but ended without an answer
- Permission records note which directory the request was asked in
- A field records when something was outside its intended audience
- New reports cover holding back a main reply and skipping a project reply policy
- A new entry records setting an attached project
Why
These additions show which parts of Claude Code are being measured. None of them changes what Claude Code does for you.
