Unclear What makes Claude Code decide a device has no enforced policy is not stated.

What

Remote tools are tools Claude Code runs on another machine. Claude Code now has a case for devices with no enforced device policy, meaning no organisation rules applied to the device. In that case remote tools are reported as disabled for device policy, with the reason remote_tools_disabled: device_policy_not_enforced.

Why

On a device without an enforced policy, remote tools can now be refused. If you see this reason, the device's policy is what blocks them.
