What

Claude Code has a part that periodically samples how much of your computer's resources it is using. It now keeps its most recent memory reading together with the time that reading was taken, which suggests it reuses the reading for a while instead of measuring every time.

Why

This is likely a performance improvement, saving repeated measurements.
