What
Claude in Chrome lets Claude act in your Chrome browser, including uploading files. When an upload is refused, Claude Code now sorts the refusal into a category, such as a matching read deny rule (a setting that blocks reading certain files) or a network path. It also classifies the kind of path a file reference uses. Refusals for credential files and for Claude Code's own files now report a reason too.
Why
This changes only the usage data Claude Code sends. Which uploads are refused stays the same.
