What
A subagent is a helper Claude starts to handle part of a job. Two records gain more detail.
- Background tasks: when a reason for starting is known, the task record now stores it.
- Subagents: when a check passes and the launching action is known, the subagent now records which action it was started from.
Why
This makes it easier to trace which task or agent started which.
