What

Auto mode is the permission mode where Claude Code goes ahead with actions without asking you each time. The sandbox is the restricted environment that limits which network hosts (addresses on the internet) a command can reach. When a host is blocked because no one approved it, Claude Code now gives a specific reason. It says no one approved this host, and that auto mode does not check hosts in this session. It tells Claude not to retry during this turn, and says you can allow the host in your sandbox network settings.

Why

Both Claude and you get clearer feedback when a network request is blocked, and you know where to go to allow the host.
