What
Several small internal changes landed together in this release:
- The artifact tool's
guideaction and itscreate_from_typeaction are now both markedgivesStoredText: !0, meaning the marker is on. Before,create_from_typewas listed only as{ action: "publish", type: "slug" }. - Compaction is when Claude Code summarizes a long conversation to free up space. The request it sends to make that summary now passes
projectDocsAsRound: !0. - The usage data Claude Code sends to Anthropic about tail input gains a field for when that input was given up.
tengu_swirling_meteoris a remote switch that controls whether task notifications are combined. In the code it still falls back to true. Only its name in the code changed.
Why
None of this adds a command or a setting you can use. The stored-text marker records which artifact actions return text that Claude Code keeps, and the agent that found it thinks it may feed the check that an artifact was read before it is edited. The compaction option may change how project documents are laid out in the summary request.
