When you get close to a spend limit, Claude Code can show a prompt that includes an option to upgrade. The wording of that option now depends on your plan:
Max plans: 'Upgrade your plan for higher session limits every month'
Other plans: 'Upgrade to Max for higher session limits every month'
Before, the option always said 'Upgrade to Max 20x' or 'Upgrade to Max'.
Why
People who already have Max are no longer told to upgrade to the plan they are on.
