When you delete a shared team onboarding guide, Claude Code now checks the server's answer:
- Success: the guide is reported as deleted.
- Not found: the guide is reported as already gone.
- Any other refusal: you see an error starting "Onboarding guide unavailable: the server refused".
Why
Deleting a guide that someone already removed no longer counts as an error, and real failures now say what happened.
