Unclear It is not stated which agents or teammates get the plain 'running' label.
What
When Claude Code lists work that is in progress, each running agent or teammate gets a status line. An agent here means a helper that Claude Code starts to work on part of a task. A teammate means a member of a team of such helpers. The status line used to show how long the agent had been running and how many tokens it had used. Tokens are the units of text a model reads and writes.
The status line can now show the word 'running' on its own, with no elapsed time and no token count. This happens when a new option is passed to the code that builds the status line. In every other case the row looks the same as before.
Why
If a running agent or teammate shows only 'running', that is expected. The timer and token count are being left out on purpose, and the agent is not stuck.
