An agent here means a helper that Claude Code starts to work on part of a task. A teammate means a member of a team of such helpers. The status line used to show how long the agent had been running and how many tokens it had used. Tokens are the units of text a model reads and writes.\n\nThe status line can now show the word 'running' on its own, with no elapsed time and no token count. This happens when a new option is passed to the code that builds the status line. In every other case the row looks the same as before.\n\n**Why**\n\nIf a running agent or teammate shows only 'running', that is expected. The timer and token count are being left out on purpose, and the agent is not stuck.\n\n- Area: Subagents\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
