What
A symlink is a file that points to another file or folder. The plugin validator's warning about symlinks now says:
--plugin-dir follows them
- an installed plugin follows one only if it points inside the plugin's installed folder
- a plugin in a project's
.claude/skills follows one only if it points inside the folder that holds that .claude
Before, it only said a session loading the plugin follows them.
Why
You can now tell from the warning whether a symlink in your plugin will work where it is going to be used.
