What
Flags are options you type after claude when you start it. When you leave a session, Claude Code shows a hint with the command to resume it. That hint can now carry the flags you originally started Claude Code with, and the usage data Claude Code records when it shows the hint now includes them. Claude Code also now keeps track of who owns the current session.
Why
If you started a session with particular flags, the resume command can bring them back as well, so the resumed session starts the way the original one did.
