What
The resume picker is the list of past sessions (earlier conversations with Claude Code) that you pick from to continue one, as with /resume. It can be filtered to a pull request with --pr.
Before, the filter only looked at the sessions already loaded. Now Claude Code keeps loading older sessions in the background until it has found enough matches, reaches a limit, or a load fails. A failed load is now written to the log and stops the loading.
Why
Filtering by pull request finds more of the matching sessions, not only the ones that happened to be loaded already.
