What
Plugins are add-ons that can bring their own skills (instructions in a SKILL.md file) and themes. Before, Claude Code read these files directly. It now checks each SKILL.md and each theme before reading it. If the check reports a problem, Claude Code skips that file and logs an error saying it did not read the skill or theme.
Why
A plugin whose files cannot be read no longer stops loading at that point. If one of a plugin's skills or themes goes missing, the error log says which file was skipped.
