What
MCP servers are outside programs that give Claude extra tools. When Claude Code drops some servers because of a limit, it now marks them as settled, and any that were still waiting to start are set to disabled. The step that lists servers can also skip listing them again and report that they are already listed.
Why
This stops servers from being listed twice and from sitting in a pending state that never resolves.
