What
On macOS, Claude Code sets up a small helper app, ClaudeCode.app. Before, it was always set up. It is now skipped when a check on the location of the running program says so.
Separately, the step that adds your local settings file to your global gitignore (the list of files git leaves out) was moved into one shared place in the code.
