What
Claude Code can send an action to Claude on another device. When the versions do not match, the action is not run and the message now says what to do:
- If Claude on the other device is too old, update the Claude app or Claude Code there and open the session again.
- If this session's Claude Code is too old for the other device, start a new session. The message says retrying will not help.
Both messages say the action was not run.
Why
Claude gets a clear instruction to pass on to you instead of retrying an action that cannot succeed.
