What

In auto mode, a safety check decides which of Claude's actions can go ahead without asking you, using a list of allow rules. One of the default rules covers scheduled tasks, which are jobs set to run at a set time. That rule is called "Scheduled-Task Fires".

Auto mode now reads this rule from its built-in template and keeps it even when your own allow list replaces the defaults. If it cannot read the rule from the template, it reports an error.

Why

Your scheduled tasks keep being allowed after you write custom allow rules, so you do not have to add the rule back yourself.
