What

Vim mode lets you move around and edit your prompt with vim-style keys. In this mode, the w, e and W motions, which jump forward by word, now treat an empty line as a place to stop.

When these motions skip over blank space, they no longer run across empty lines. Before, blank space was skipped straight across line breaks.

Why

These motions now behave more like they do in real vim, so moving through a prompt with several paragraphs lands where a vim user expects.
