What
When Claude Code tidies up after a team of agents, it deletes the folder it kept for that team. If that deletion failed, it used to write "Failed to clean up team directory" to its log and carry on as though the cleanup had worked. The failure now passes upward, and the cleanup as a whole reports an error.
Why
A cleanup that did not finish is now visible, so you can tell when a team's folder has been left behind on disk.
