The Bedrock and Vertex model check only runs for those providers

Claude Code can reach Claude through Anthropic directly or through cloud providers such as Amazon Bedrock and Google Vertex. It runs a check against the provider for the model being used. This check now stops straight away unless your provider is Bedrock or Vertex. Before, when the provider was not clear, it guessed one of the two from the model's name.
