What
A subagent is a helper agent Claude starts to handle part of a task. When Claude Code syncs a subagent's transcript, it used to download the whole thing every time. It now reads the last line it already has, asks only for events after that point, and falls back to a full download if the result does not show it is up to date.
Why
Less is downloaded again, which should make resuming remote subagent transcripts faster.
