What
The Google Drive connector lets Claude work with your Drive. Its file-creation option is now controlled by the remote switch tengu_clever_bonbon instead of tengu_wobbly_dewdrop. A remote switch is a setting Anthropic's server sends to Claude Code. The option also gains:
a text argument, so a file can be created from plain text content
an ask-first mark for the desktop app, pointing to the desktop host asking before it creates a file
Why
Drive file creation is turned on or off from Anthropic's side through a new switch, and it gains a way to create files from text.
