What
When a request reaches the gateway from someone who is not in any group allowed to use it, Claude Code now refuses the request with an "invalid request" error (HTTP status 400). The message reads: "you aren't in a group that can use this gateway. Ask your administrator to add you to one".
Why
Users with no group membership now get a specific error that says what is wrong and who can fix it.
