What

Claude Code keeps a fixed list of edit rules for files that need special care. The list already covered CLAUDE.md, CLAUDE.local.md, AGENTS.md and .mcp.json. It now also includes Edit(//**/ARCHITECTURE.md), which matches a file named ARCHITECTURE.md in any folder.

Why

If your project has an ARCHITECTURE.md file, Claude may now handle edits to it as it handles edits to CLAUDE.md, for example by asking you first.
