Unclear It is unclear whether this dialog replaces any earlier skill prompt everywhere or only appears for some kinds of request.
What
When Claude wants to use a skill (a packaged set of instructions, code or files it can draw on), Claude Code asks "Use this skill?". That prompt is a new dialog in this build. It warns that Claude may use instructions, code, or files from the skill, and it adds:
- A scrollable box holding the skill's description, with a ctrl+o hint to see more or go back to the first lines.
- The message "Make the terminal taller to approve." when the prompt does not fit in the window.
- A note when the skill was called under a different name from its own.
- Handling for skills that come from MCP servers (add-on tool servers) and for version rules.
Why
The approval dialog for skills looks different from before. If you cannot approve a skill, try making your terminal window taller.
