Unclear It is not clear when this message is shown, or whether it is in use at all.
What
The sandbox is the protected area Claude Code runs commands in, with a list of web addresses (domains) it may reach. A new refusal message reads: "not in the sandbox's allowed domains, and auto mode does not approve connections to other hosts". Auto mode is the setting where Claude Code approves actions without asking you.
Why
If this message is in use, auto mode refuses connections to hosts outside the sandbox's list and tells you why.
