What
When you type a message while Claude is still working, it waits in a queue. A new hint can now appear on a queued message:
- If there is a keyboard shortcut for sending it now, the hint reads "send now".
- If there is no shortcut but sending is possible, it reads "click to send now".
Clicking the hint sends the message straight away. Clicking only works when Claude Code is using its fullscreen display.
Why
This gives you a mouse way to push a queued prompt through without waiting.
