When loading a plugin, Claude Code can now mark it as vouched for if it comes from an official marketplace and passes further checks

What

A plugin is an add-on that extends Claude Code, and a marketplace is a source you install plugins from. When Claude Code loads a plugin, it can now mark that plugin as vouched for by an official marketplace. All of these have to pass:

  • The marketplace source passes a check that it is official.
  • The install location passes a further check.
  • The plugin passes a further check.

The mark may let plugins from official marketplaces through later trust checks more easily.
