Fast mode is a faster way of running Claude. When it turns off because of usage credits, the message used to say the credits were exhausted. It now reads either "Fast mode disabled · Out of usage credits" or "Fast mode disabled · Usage credits aren't available".
Why
The message you see is worded differently, and tells apart running out of credits from credits not being available.
