What
Claude Code now reports how much of its precompiled code is used early (hot), unused (cold) or unclassified, as counts and sizes in kilobytes. This is telemetry, meaning usage data Claude Code sends about itself, and it only happens when the runtime offers these numbers.
Why
The numbers measure how quickly Claude Code starts, which helps with startup speed.
