What
A workflow is a script that runs a series of steps, which can include several agents, for a task. When a workflow script finishes, its result now includes toolsUsed, a list of the tools the run called. The list is left out when no tools were used. When a run fails, Claude Code also collects the list of tools used.
Why
Whatever started the workflow can now see which tools the run actually used.
