What
A teammate is another agent working alongside Claude on a shared task. When a message is sent to one, Claude Code now creates it once. The waiting copy and the copy in the transcript, the written record of the conversation, share the same ID. Before, the transcript got a separately created message.
Why
Linking the two copies probably stops the same teammate message from being shown twice.
