Unclear Whether rewinding now removes messages, or only the dialog wording changed, is not stated.
What
The wording changed when you rewind the conversation to an earlier point. Rewinding means going back to before a chosen message. When you choose to restore the conversation, the explanation now says "This message and everything after it will be removed." Before, it said "The conversation will be forked."
The option label also changed, from "Restore and fork the conversation to the point before…" to "Restore the conversation to the point before…".
Why
The dialog now describes rewinding as removing messages rather than branching off a copy. Read it as a warning that later messages go away.
