What

These changes affect sessions run by a remote worker:

  • Subagent depth: a subagent (a helper Claude starts to do part of a task) can now carry a number saying how many levels deep it was started.
  • Event uploads: the part that sends session events now keeps track of what was already sent, and marks each send as a first attempt, a resend, or a resend with new items added.
  • Start-up timing: start-up timing gains an extra option.
Why

These changes improve the reporting and the retry behaviour for remote sessions.
