What

Claude Code shows formatted text using Markdown, a simple way of marking text as bold, code and so on. In ordinary text, a backslash directly before a closing quote or bracket is now treated as an escape. This means it marks the next character to be shown as it is.

Why

This fixes how text containing backslashes is displayed.
