What

When you press Escape while editing an inline text field, Claude Code now first sets the field back to its starting value, or to empty if it had none. If the field rejects that change, the cancel stops there. Before, Escape went straight to resetting the field.

Why

This changes how Escape cancels an edit in a dialog. Some fields can now decline to be cancelled this way.
