What
In headless mode, where Claude Code runs without the interactive screen, a turn can now send plain pieces of streamed text straight out instead of through the usual path. The end-of-run report counts how many pieces went each way.
A turn can also now be marked as refused when it takes the place of the first request.
Why
This is a quicker way to stream output for programs that use Claude Code through the SDK or remotely.
