What
The Files API is Anthropic's service for storing files. When saving a file through it fails because it did not accept the session's claude.ai sign-in, Claude Code now says that the sign-in may have expired, and that once you have signed in to Claude again, you should save again.
Why
You get a message that says what went wrong and what to do, instead of a general failure.
