Unclear It is not known what the refusal text now says in each case.

What

Auto mode is a permission mode in which a classifier, an automatic checker, decides whether Claude may take an action without asking you. When it blocks or refuses an action, Claude Code builds a message explaining the refusal.

That message is now built with one extra piece of information: whether the caller has tools for reading files. Before, it was built only from whether the action was refused or not.

Why

The refusal text you or Claude sees may now read differently depending on whether the agent that made the call can read files.
