What
Claude Code sends usage data, or telemetry, about the shell commands it runs. That data now includes a bash_command_kinds field listing the kinds of commands in each one, or incomplete when it cannot tell. A new parser works this out. It replaces an older one that recorded whether a command used a pipe or a redirect.
Why
This only changes the usage data Claude Code sends. It does not change how commands run.
