What

A part of Claude Code now receives a second check, alongside an existing one, that says whether it should wait for a batch of work to finish. That check reads a remote setting, which is off unless it is switched on remotely.

Why

This prepares a change in how some batch of work is waited on, kept switched off for now.

The flag server returned off for the account this site reads and for the anonymous baseline. A reading of off cannot rule out a rollout these two readings sit outside of.
