Claude Code attaches extra context to the conversation, such as file contents or reminders, as attachments of different types. A new type called goals is now recognised. When Claude Code turns attachments into messages for Claude, a goals attachment produces no message at all, and nothing visible to you comes from it.
The goals name also appears in a few lists of attachment and section names that Claude Code keeps.
Why
This looks like preparation for a goals feature whose visible part has not shipped. In this build it changes nothing you can see.
